3rd Asian Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy Symposium Nov 15-17, 2019 Preess Hotel Changsha, Hunan https://aeis2019.wixsite.com/changsha |
|
After the successful meetings held in Beijing (2015) and Tokyo (2017), the 3rd Asian Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (3rd-AEIS) Symposium will be held in Changsha, Nov. 15-17, 2019. The 3rd-AEIS symposium gathers experts of different fields around EIS, a powerful electrochemical tool, to open-heartedly share progress in developing EIS and experience as well as difficulties in applying EIS in many scenarios. It provides a wonderful opportunity for experts to reminisce about the centenary-long history of EIS, to reflect the ups and downs of EIS, and to present the prospect of EIS. This symposium consists of a tutorial session, oral and poster presentations including several plenary and keynote talks, and a problem-targeted Q&A session. Originated from a decades-long collaboration between a Chinese professor Jianbo Zhang and a Japanese professor Masayuki Itagaki, the AEIS symposium series has evolved into a scientific event with a unique vision: friendship through EIS. Welcome to 3rd-AEIS!
Scientific sessions
Fundamentals of EIS: frequency dispersion, impedance theory of interfaces and porous electrodes, new data processing methods, local and global impedance, distribution of relaxation times, etc.
Applications of EIS: energy conversion devices (batteries, fuel cells, capacitors, solar cells, etc), corrosion and passivation, surface finishing and corrosion control, electrochemical sensors and biosensors, semiconductor interfaces and devices, etc.
New trends in EIS: non-linear EIS, dynamic EIS, single-particle EIS, combining EIS with other advanced characterization tools, etc.
