General Information

The Corrosion Electrochemchina Meeting held at every two-year in China, will be held in Huairou, Beijing, July 30 to Aug.3, 2018. This domestic conference will bring together scientists, engineers, researchers, officers and college students (masters or doctors) from academia, industry, and government laboratories to share the results and discuss issues on the related topics through a variety of formats, such as oral presentations on this meeting, oral presentations on topic sessions, poster sessions, panel discussions and exhibits. The oral presentations on this meeting will be from the famous foreign professors (USA, France and Japan) and the famous domestic professors. The related topics of this meeting includes in the following:

l  Corrosion electrochemical theory of metals or metal-based materials

l  Corrosion failures and applications of organic or inorganic coatings, conversion films and plating or deposits.  

l  Corrosion inhibitor, mechanisms and applications

l  Electrochemical protections

l  Electrochemistry in the field of energy and environmental pollution controls

l  Corrosion monitoring & inspection techniques and their applications

Abstract Submission

To give an oral or poster presentation at the Corrosion Electrochemchina Meeting 2018, you must submit an original meeting abstract for consideration via e-mail:electrochem@electrochemchina.comthrough www. electrochemchina.com no later than April 30,2018. Meeting abstracts should explicitly state objectives, new results, and conclusions or significance of the work.

Once the submission deadline has passed, the symposium organizers will evaluate all abstracts for content and relevance to the symposium topic, and will schedule all acceptable submissions as either oral or poster presentations.

Paper Presentation

Oral presentations may be Chinese with outlines in English. LCD projectors and laptops will be provided for all oral presentations. Authors must bring their presentations on a USB flash drive to be used with the dedicated laptop that will be in each technical session room.

Poster presentations must be displayed in Chinese with outlines in English, on a board L 1200mm x W 90mm, corresponding to their abstract number and day of presentation in the final program.

Meeting Publications

Corrosion Electrochemchina Meeting 2018 Abstracts  all meeting abstracts will be published in Electrochemchina Digital Libray (www. electrochemchina.com).

Journal of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection--- Special Issue During meeting, some outstanding presentations will be selected by experts. Afterwards, the full-text papers will be published inJournal of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection.

Paper Awards

On the other hand, the famous academic institutes, companies and exhibitors are also encouraged to provide their supports for paper awards.

Meeting Registration

All participants, including authors and invited speakers, are required to pay the appropriate registration fees. Hotel and meeting registration information will be posted on the website www. electrochemchina.com as it becomes available. The deadline for discounts is May 30,2018.

Finance Assistance

The organizer ofCorrosion Electrochemchina Meeting 2018 will give some discounts to master students and doctor students from universities and institutes from registration fees.
